The Assistant Director Corps Inspection and Monitoring NYSC Osun State, Mrs. Adesina Omoboade, has warned the 2022 batch B Stream 1 Corps members deployed to State not to induce rejection when they are posted to their place of Primary Assignment, PPA.
She stressed that the NYSC has four cardinal program which the Corps members are currently undergoing the first one, which is Mobilization and Orientation; then the Primary Assignment, the community development service and the winding up and passing out, which rounds off the service year.
Speaking further, Adesina informed the Corps members that they are not allowed to reside away from their place of Primary Assignment as they must be resident of the host communities where they are posted.
According to Adesina, the NYSC has a team for monitoring the compliance of Corps members at their place of Primary Assignment. She stressed the need for them to participate actively in their place of assignments as they were deployed to offer selfless service to the communities.
She however intimated the members that the committee always embarks on inspection unannounced. She added that the National Directorate headquarters equally sends out officers to States and PPA for inspection and monitoring.
She however, charged the Corps members to put in their best as they are here as ambassadors of their respective States as well they swore to an oath of allegiance to serve the Nation. While urging them to obey the regulations of their PPA and respect the tradition of their local community.
