Following a viral publication making the rounds that the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JANB) was planning a resit for select candidates who took the 2022 JAMB examination the examination board has issued a disclaimer on activities of fraudsters.

JAMB stated this whilst replying a twitter user who had almost been deceived by the said fraudulent publication. According to the publication as obtained by Myschoolnews, certain individuals purporting to be JAMB were said to be organizing a re-sit for candidates who scored less than 170 in the recently concluded examination.

However JAMB has warned its candidates to beware of such fraudulent individuals as the said communication did not emanate from JAMB and  candidates should note that the JAMB website remains Jamb.gov.ng and not the portal.jamb.gov.ng used in the malicious publication.

It therefore urges its candidates to be very careful of fraudsters at this critical time in order not to fall victim of any sharp practices.
