FCE Oyo 13th Matriculation Ceremony For PDE Students

Federal College of Education Oyo Holds 13TH Matriculation ceremony for Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) students.

It's a true ideology that anything worth doing at all is worth doing well". This was said by the Deputy Provost of the College, Dr. B.A. Adebiyi at the 13th Matriculation ceremony for the 2023 Professional Diploma in Education (PDE), recently held in the College. 

The Deputy Provost who represented the Provost, Dr. Ademola Rauf Salami said that the Students have taken the right decision to acquire knowledge and skills about how to teach and teach well in their various disciplines. He added that in a quest of additional knowledge in a new field proudly called the teaching profession, this matriculation ceremony becomes highly essential as it is an initiation into a training programme towards becoming a professional teacher. 

At the matriculation ceremony, Dr. Adebiyi also said that the PDE programme of the College is an approved programme by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and therefore admonished the Students to abide by the rules guiding their studentship and make themselves available as the College has deployed all human and material resources needed to impart knowledge to them.

Highpoints of event was the administration of matriculation Oath by the College Registrar, Mr. Joseph. A. Araoye and the Oath against secret cultism administered by the College legal officer, Barrister Badmus. T. Abiodun.
