FUTA Alumnus Waiting For GWR After Setting New Record For Longest Speech Marathon

Waiting for GWR, FUTA Alumnus, Christopher Olusa, sets New Record for Longest Speech Marathon, a new time of 112 hours 12 minutes.

FUTA Alumnus Christopher Olusa has returned a new time of 112 hours 12 minutes for the longest speech marathon over the previous record of 90 hours two minutes set by Ananta Ram of Nepal from the 27th-31st of August 2018.

Olusa began his quest for a place in the Guinness World Records at 2 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023, and ended his speech marathon at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023.

All that is left is for officials of the Guinness World Records , who were duly informed and gave official backing to Olusa's quest , to confirm the new record.
