Jamb Subject Combination for Archaeology

The approved jamb subject combination is given below and the status of each subject as it relates with Archaeology. They are;

  • English Language; Compulsory
  • Any two subjects from Arts and Social Science
  • And one of History, Religious Studies, Government and Geography.

General Admission Requirements

  • Direct Entry Requirements; in addition to the Utme requirements, direct entry candidates for admission into Arabic studies must possess a minimum of Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science and one Science subject.
  • O’ Level Requirements; O’ level candidates for admission into aquaculture and fisheries management should possess a minimum of five credit passes which must include English Language. And at least one of the following: Science subject, Religious Studies, Geography, Economics and History.

Candidates who want to improve their jamb score this year are advised to devote more time and efforts to study, ensure to treat all the jamb subjects equally although a bit of extra time should be allotted to English language because of the number of its questions. Candidates should endeavor to score up to 200 and above in order to qualify for the next level which is post utme.
