  • Biology or Agriculture; Compulsory
  • Chemistry; Required
  • Mathematics or Physics; Required

General Admission Requirements

  • O’ Level Requirement; Utme candidates seeking admission to study crop production should possess a minimum credit passes at O’ level in any five of the following subjects including Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science Mathematics and one Science or Social Science subject and at least a pass in Physics.
  • Utme candidates who do not have their entry qualification readily available at the time of further screening may stand a chance of forfeiting the provisional admission.
  • Direct Entry Requirements; in addition to utme requirement mentioned above, direct entry candidates for this course must possess a minimum of  Two ‘A’ level passes in any of the following subjects Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Mathematics and Economics.

Direct entry candidates should be informed that there may be special qualifications or grades required of them for study of this course and this will depend on the dictates of their preferred institution.
