  • English Language; Compulsory
  • Biology or Agriculture; Compulsory
  • Chemistry; Required
  • Mathematics or Physics; Required

General Admission Requirements

  • O’ Level Requirement; candidates seeking admission for this course through utme mode should possess a minimum of five credits which must include the following Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science, Mathematics, and one Science or Social Science subject and at least a pass in Physics.
  • Utme candidates who do not have their entry qualification readily available at the time of further screening may stand a chance of forfeiting the provisional admission.
  • Direct Entry Requirements; in addition to utme requirements, direct entry candidates for crop protection must possess a minimum of Two ‘A’ level passes in any of the following subjects Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Mathematics and Economics.
  • DE candidates should also know that there may be special qualifications or grades required of them for study of this course and this will depend on the dictates of their preferred institution.
