Lagos State University Alumni Association (UK Branch) Scholarship Programme Scheme presented by the Vice Chancellor.

Lagos State University Senate at its 300th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 27th July 2023, has considered and approved a notification of the Lagos State University Alumni Association (UK Branch) Scholarship Programme Scheme presented by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi OLATUNJI-BELLO, mni, NPOM.

The Alumni Association (UK Branch) has instituted a Scholarship Scheme tagged “Lagos State University UK Scholarship Programme” designed to:

 i. support fifty (50) lucky students of the University struggling with the payment of their school fees;

ii. ease the financial challenge resulting from the inability of students to pay school fees while supporting the educational advancement of such beneficiaries and also supporting the (5th) strategic goal of the Vice Chancellor which aimed at enhancing students’ welfare and give back to their beloved alma mater.

The details of the Scholarship Scheme are as follows:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES:

a. must be a full-time undergraduate student of Lagos State University;

b. must be within the second year (200 level) first semester up to the first semester of 500 level;

c. must have completed and passed all components of current year; and

d. must have maintained a minimum of a 3.5 Cumulative GPA

APPLICATION DEADLINE: The application process has been extended by the association till Thursday, 31th August 2023 by 11:59p.m.

The above decision of the Senate is hereby conveyed in the interest of qualified candidates.
