LASU Makes U-turn, Suspends All Academic Activities For 2023 General Election

According to the management of the Lagos State University LASU,  All academic activities be suspended from 6.00 p.m. Thursday, 23rd February, till Tuesday, 14th March 2023. The decision was in view of prevailing socio-economic and security challenges in the country.

The Senate at it's meeting of Thursday, 23rd February 2023, reversed its earlier decision on the schedule of the Second Semester Examinations for the 2021/2022 Academic Session and DECIDED that the on-going examinations

All academic activities be SUSPENDED from 6.00 p.m. Thursday, 23rd February, till Tuesday, 14th March, 2023. The decision was in view of prevailing socio-economic and security challenges in the country.

Consequently, all students are DIRECTED to proceed on Three (3) weeks break to allow them to exercise their franchise in the up-coming general elections scheduled for Saturday, 25th February 2023, and Saturday, 11th March 2023 respectively.

It was previously reported by MYSCHOOLNEWS that the Management of Lagos State University LASU declined the permission to let the school go on break as regards to the forth coming election.Therefore its published that their students should vacate and resume classes on the 14th of March 2023.
