LAUTECH Creates Procurement Directorate, Appoints Ag. Director

LAUTECH established procurement Directorate of the Vice-Chancellor's office, appoints Ag. Director.

 Management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, has established a Procurement Directorate under the Directorate of the Vice-Chancellor's office.

The new Directorate, established in line with the directive of the Governing Council of the Institution after its meeting of August 18, 2023, is being implemented by the University Management with effect from September 22, 2023.

It will among other things assist the 34-year old LAUTECH to formalize application of due process to financial transactions.

Meanwhile, a letter from the office of the University Registrar, dated September 22, 2023, and signed by the Registrar, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, has announced a Deputy Director of Audit from the Internal Audit Department, Mr. Jacob Taiwo Olajide, as the Foundation Acting Director of the Directorate of Procurement.

 A Certified National Accountant., he has attended many conferences, workshops and seminars in his area of specialization prior to his new appointment.
