Meet the Director of Arthur Mbanefo Digital Research Centre, University of Lagos who holds a Bachelor Degree in Education and History from the University of Ife.

Dr. (Mrs.) Taiwo Folashade Ipaye, who is an indigene of Lagos Island in Lagos State holds a Bachelor Degree in Education and History from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (1985), as well as Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Lagos in 1987 and 2008, respectively. 

The astute Administrator joined the services of the University of Lagos as Administrative Officer I in December 1989. She became Assistant Secretary in the Provost’s Office in February 1991; Senior Assistant Secretary in October 1996 and Principal Assistant Secretary in October 2000 where she was in charge of the Personnel Unit of the College of Medicine, which has three sections: Academic Personnel, Administrative and Technical Personnel as well as the Junior Personnel Sections.

She was appointed Deputy Registrar I July 2009 and was posted to serve as the Administrative Secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies. Subsequently, in September 2010, she was transferred to the Examination Office, University of Lagos, where she served as Deputy Registrar and Head until her appointment as Registrar, UNILAG on August, 2013.

Dr. Taiwo F. Ipaye is currently the President of The University of Lagos Women Society (ULWS). To her credit, she has handled teaching and non-teaching staff appointment, staff welfare, protocol and general administration for over 26 years.
