The Management of National Open University (NOUN) Enugu Study Centre Recieves Face-Lift Creating Conducive Atmosphere For Learning At All The Study Centres Nationwide.

The Enugu Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has received a huge renovation works in line with the University management’s efforts at creating conducive atmosphere for learning at all the study centres nationwide.

The centre, it would be recalled, was at the receiving end of the 2020 infamous EndSARS protest, which festered across states of the federation, resulting to the complete damage of windows and doors of the centre’s e-exam hall.

Consequently, university management has ensured that all the damaged windows and doors of the entire building have been renovated.

Equally, the rooftop of the Pen-on-Paper (POP) examination hall was blown by heavy rain, which, among others, triggered ceiling leakages and over-flooding of the floors with waters.

The situation was unpalatable, necessitating students’ inability to take the 2022_2 examination in the hall.

However, the tide has turned, even as the whole structure is wearing a new look due to the university's management intervention.

The remaining general floors that were hitherto not interlocked have been interlocked, thereby adding beauty to the entire environment.

The centre director, Prof. Alexander Uche Onyia, the staff and the students of the centre expressed their profound gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters and his team for their benevolence and magnanimity towards the centre and prayed for God's strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the institution to greater height.
