Now, let’s answer your question…

Does AKSU accept awaiting result for admission?

The answer is “Yes”: If you are a post utme candidate, you can choose Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) as your institution of choice during JAMB registration while waiting for your WAEC or NECO results to be released. That is if you have applied or have written your O’Level exam and your results are not released yet.  In the JAMB registration form, select awaiting results (AW).

In this case, AKSU usually conducts their admission screening exam only after your O’Level results have been released. In most cases, applicants are allowed to take part in the admission screening even without their O’Level results.

After or during the admission screening, candidates are advised to upload scanned copies of their SSCE/NECO results to the University’s website (

Also, candidates should upload scanned copies of their O’level results to JAMB Portal, appropriately.

The process is also applicable to direct entry applicants. You have to upload your results and academic qualifications to both the University and the JAMB portal to be considered for admission.

Any candidate who fails to upload his/her results will NOT be considered for admission by the University.

I hope this explanation helps!
