University of Benin (UNIBEN) Management Of The Teaching Hospital Appoints a New Director Of Administration Following The Retirement of the Former Director of Administration

The University of Benin Teaching Hospital Management Board has appointed a new Director of Administration following the retirement of its erstwhile Director of Administration. The new Director of Administration is Jim Uwadiae, Esq. Until this appointment, Mr. Jim Uwadiae was the acting Director of Administration. He assumed office as Director of Administration on 31st January, 2023

Jim Uwadiae, Esq. is an alumnus of the Bendel State (now Ambrose Ali) University and University of Benin. He acquired a Bachelor degree in History/Education in 1991. Apart from also acquiring a bachelor degree in Law (LLB) from the National Open University of Nigeria, he possesses the following post-graduate degrees from the University of Benin. Master of Public Administration (MPA) 1997, Master of Health Planning and Management (MHPM) 2006; and Master of Laws (LLM) 2021. 

Mr. Jim Uwadiae is not just a member but a fellow of the following bodies; Institute of Health Service Administrators, FHAN, Nigeria Institute of Management, FNIM and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, FICMC. He is the Chairman, Institute of Health Service Administrators UBTH Chapter and Chairman, Nigeria Institute of Management, UBTH Unit.

Mr. Jim Uwadiae is a Christian of the Catholic Faith, a Knight of St. Paul (KSP) and the immediate Past President of Laity, St. Albert Catholic Church, UNIBEN/UBTH. He is happily married and blessed with four children.
