University of Lagos alumna, Echika Obijiaku, has been selected as one (1) of the five (5)awardees in the 20th cohort of Skoll Scholars for the 2023/2024 academic session.

University of Lagos alumna, Echika Obijiaku, has been selected as one (1) of the five (5)awardees in the 20th cohort of Skoll Scholars for the 2023/2024 academic session.

Obijiaku, a graduate of the Actuarial Science, Faculty of Management Sciences (former Faculty of Business Administration), is the founder/CEO of Mwanga, a pioneer technology driven debt recovery and outsourcing firm positioned to help growing and innovative businesses scale by providing seamless support. She is also the founder/CEO of Yapha Academy, an ed-tech company that uses innovative technology to deliver employee readiness training programme to early-stage professionals.

The Skoll scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship of the Oxford MBA at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. It is sponsored by the Skoll Centre and the Skoll Foundation. The scholarship provides funding to entrepreneurs who have set up or have been working in entrepreneurial initiatives, with a social purpose; or who have pursued an impact career and who wish to improve their knowledge of market-oriented practices.
