Visiting NUAB Officials Exit LASU After Three-Day Training Tour Of LASU ICT

Visiting Nigerian Army University, Biu (NUAB), Borno State exit University after three-day training tour understudying the operations of LASU ICT.

Officials of the Nigerian Army University, Biu (NUAB), Borno State, who arrived at the Lagos State University on Monday, 14th August 2023 to understudy the operations of the University's ICT concluded their visit on Thursday, 17th August 2023, with an exit meeting. 

The exit meeting was chaired by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adenike Boyo and had members of the University Management and the Director of ICT present. 

Prof. Isa Ibrahim, Deputy Vice Chancellor, NUAB, who led the team, expressed excitement at the novelty of the digital infrastructure and framework of the operations of the LASU-ICT. 

Prof. Ibrahim revealed that the engagement included the physical inspection of hardware followed by a demonstration of the University's application.  

Impressed by what he saw, he proposed collaboration between the two institutions (NUAB and LASU) in various areas including automation of notification of results and certificate, transcript, staff ID Card Integration, Online Examination Management, E-Learning platforms and research,  amongst others.  

His enthusiasm for the collaboration was shared by Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, Director, LASU-DICT, who assured that LASU was ready to actualize the partnership, to help the nascent military institution achieve it's ICT goal. 

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, (Administration),  Prof. Adenike Boyo, thanked the team for the visit and assured the them of LASU's support.
