A young Nigerian graduate from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State,causes stares online.

While bagging a degree, He made the day even more special when he paid tribute to his mother, who passed away a few years ago.

The young man wrote;

“Hello mum, hope you can hear me, your dream for me has been achieved but you are no more to witness it. Your little boy is now a graduate. I hope you will be happy wherever you are. I have fulfilled my promise, I have made you proud and I will continue to do that."

He continued;

“You suffered for this, you blessed me and wished me well. The mission has been accomplished. NYSC LOADING…I dedicate this special day to you mum…I cried because you are no more, I also want to use this medium to appreciate everyone that helped me to achieve this to train myself in school was the hardest decision ever but thank God today I made it, all through my school days I never associated myself with bad friends because I always remember my background and I believe that my family background will never put my back on the ground.. congratulations to me its never easy but I conquered it. Thank God for Grace”.

He revealed that his mother was his biggest supporter throughout his academic journey,She encouraged him to pursue his dreams and provided him with the emotional and financial support he needed to succeed. However, she was unable to see her son graduate due to her untimely passing.

Blessed, who noted that his mother’s dream was for him to graduate from a tertiary institution.To honor his mother’s memory, Blessed wore a white shirt with his mother’s photo on his sign-out day.
