ABUTH Management Takes Over CAPREMAN Research Laboratory

The Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria, has formally taken over CAPREMAN Research Laboratory from contractor handling project.

Brief handover ceremony was held at Chemical Pathology Department alongside other management staff.

Speaking during taking-over, Head of Works and Maintenance and Chairman, Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, expressed satisfaction with level of work done and commended contractor for delivering project in line with specifications and within stipulated timeframe.

In remarks, representative of contractor thanked management for cooperation during execution.

Facility was inspected by committee before formal taking over.

Present were Head, Department of Chemical Pathology, Internal Audit, Planning Administration, Hospital Secretary, Head of Information and Public Relations and other staff.

The laboratory will significantly enhance research activities, improve diagnostic capacity and support training and academic excellence in ABUTH.
