AKUM Notice to Students on Payment of Outstanding Registration Fees
The University Management has observed with concern that some students are withholding the payment of outstanding registration fees, citing the recent pronouncement by His Excellency, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, regarding tuition-free status for matriculants.
For clarity: any student who has not paid their registration fees, excluding the tuition fee covered by the Governor, will not be allowed to sit for the Second Semester Examination.
1. Tuition Fee Breakdown by Faculty

Students should pay their registration fees in full, minus the tuition fee which will be covered by the Governor.

2. Exemptions
The following students are exempt from additional payment:
- Those who have already paid registration fees in full
- NELFUND beneficiaries
- Students receiving the Mai Solar Scholarship (representing Kontagora, Mariga, Mashegu, and Wushishi Federal Constituencies)
3. Important Deadline
Students who fail to pay their registration fees in full will not be allowed to sit for the Second Semester Examination, scheduled to commence on Monday, 2nd March 2026.
