BUK Announces NELFUND Applications, Refund Claims for 2026/2027 Session

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced the commencement of Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) applications for students seeking the student loan for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university informed all students interested in applying for the NELFUND student loan to access the official NELFUND application portal:

Students who have requests relating to Change of Course or Change of Institution are required to complete the designated Google Form using the link below:

All applicants have been advised to provide accurate and complete information when submitting their applications and forms to facilitate proper processing.

The NELFUND application exercise will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Meanwhile, students with outstanding NELFUND refund claims have been directed to submit their Remita payment receipts or Statements of Result to the NELFUND Desk Office, located on the 3rd Floor of the Senate Building.

Submission of the required documents for refund claims will commence on Monday, October 5, 2026.

All concerned students have been advised to take note of the deadlines and ensure that all necessary requirements are completed within the stipulated period.
