The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has issued a special bulletin urging all fresh and returning students to prioritize prompt resumption ahead of the official start of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The official statement, released from the Comrade Nuruddeen Gwadabe Secretariat at the BUK New Campus, outlines key administrative timelines and campus readiness preparations for the new school year.

Immediate Commencement of Academic LecturesAccording to the bulletin signed by the SUG Public Relations Officer, Comrade Inyasi Hamza, on behalf of the Union President, the 2025/2026 academic session is scheduled to officially commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.

The student leadership emphasized that academic lectures and formal classroom activities will begin immediately on the very same day.
