ESUT Dismisses Staff Over Alleged Academic Irregularities

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, has dismissed Mrs. Ochasi Fidelia, an official of the university's Industrial Training Unit, over alleged forgery and issuance of fake transcript.

The dismissal, contained in a letter dated August 6, 2026 and signed by the Registrar, Ambrose G. Ugwu, followed the consideration by the university management of the report and recommendations of the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee on the matter.

The letter stated that management, after deliberation, found her guilty and ordered her dismissal from the services of the university with effect from August 5, 2026.

She was also directed to hand over all university property in her possession to the Director of Industrial Training Unit, ITU, ESUT.
