FUE Zaria Hosts CIPSSON Council Meeting

The Federal University of Education, Zaria, on Thursday, 25 June 2026, received a delegation from the Chartered Institute of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (CIPSSON), Kaduna State Council.

The delegation was received on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Balarabe, alongside the Acting Registrar, Malam Shehu Iya Sa’idu, and the Acting Bursar, Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Aliyu.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor welcomed the delegation, wishing them a fruitful and successful meeting at the University. He reiterated the University’s commitment to supporting staff activities and professional welfare.

Leading the delegation was the Chairperson of the CIPSSON Kaduna State Council, Mrs. Augusta Kalunta, accompanied by members of her team.

Speaking during the visit, Mrs. Kalunta explained that the Institute was at the University ahead of the Kaduna State Council meeting, which is being hosted by the Federal University of Education, Zaria.

She expressed appreciation to the University management for providing a conducive environment for the meeting and for its continued support of the Institute’s activities.

The delegation was formally introduced to the University management by the University's CIPSSON Chapter, under the leadership of its Chairperson, Mrs. Bose E. Raphael.
