FUTES-IYIN Deepens JAMB Partnership to Strengthen Admission Process
The management of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN), has reiterated its commitment to sustaining a robust partnership with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as part of efforts to ensure a seamless, transparent, and merit-driven admission process for the University.
The commitment was made known during a working visit by JAMB officials to the University, where both institutions reviewed existing admission procedures and explored new strategies to enhance efficiency.
Speaking during the engagement, the Vice-Chancellor of FUTES-IYIN noted that collaboration with JAMB remains central to upholding the credibility of the University’s admission system. He assured that the University will continue to align its processes with JAMB guidelines to guarantee fairness, accountability, and access for qualified candidates.

According to him, the partnership will also help in deepening automation, reducing human error, and ensuring real-time processing of admissions, in line with global best practices.
JAMB officials at the meeting commended FUTES-IYIN for its proactive approach and readiness to leverage technology in admissions. They emphasized the Board’s resolve to support institutions that prioritize transparency and compliance with admission policies.
Both parties agreed to strengthen data sharing, capacity building for admission officers, and sensitization of prospective candidates on JAMB requirements to prevent avoidable errors.
The management of FUTES-IYIN further assured stakeholders that the University remains committed to admitting students strictly on merit, while maintaining the integrity of the admission process.
The deepened partnership is expected to position FUTES-IYIN as one of the leading institutions in the country with a credible and technology-driven admissions framework.
