Gov. Dauda Lawal to Deliver Keynote Address at FUE Zaria International Conference

His Excellency, Dr. Dauda Lawal, Executive Governor of Zamfara State, is to serve as the Keynote Speaker at the 1st International Hybrid Conference 2026 of the Faculty of Social Sciences Education, Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria.

A delegation from the Faculty, led by the Deputy Dean and Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Dr. (Mrs.) Hadiza Abdullahi, alongside the Head of the Department of Library and Information Science and LOC Treasurer, Dr. Amina Muhammad and other members formally conveyed an invitation to the Governor during a courtesy visit to his office on Friday, 10th July, 2026.

During the visit, the delegation presented the Governor's invitation letter and conference materials and His Excellency graciously accepted to deliver the keynote address at the conference, which is scheduled to hold from 4th to 6th August, 2026 at the Federal University of Education, Zaria.

Governor Dauda Lawal expressed appreciation to the Faculty for the honour and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to advancing education through the promotion of research, innovation and sustainable development

The conference, with the theme "Reimagining Knowledge Systems for Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development in the 21st Century," is expected to bring together scholars, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders to deliberate on emerging issues in education and national development.
