LASUED Staff, Students Join Walk for Nature 2026 to Promote Environmental Awareness

The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has participated in the Walk for Nature 2026, an environmental awareness initiative organised by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) in collaboration with the Lagos State Government.

The university was represented at the event by Dr S. O. Saibu, Mr S. O. Adegorite and students from the Department of Natural Science Education, College of Science Education (COSED).

Held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Lagos State University, Ojo, the event featured a walk within the university environment and was themed “Inspire the Climatic Change!”

The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage collective responsibility towards environmental conservation and sustainable living.

Through its participation, LASUED reaffirmed the importance of environmental education and the need to encourage individuals and communities to take responsibility for protecting the environment.
