Students of Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) whose NELFUND loan portal shows their school fees as “Disbursed” are being urged to take immediate action to obtain examination clearance.
According to a statement by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Osinachi Joseph Chukwubuike, affected students must:
- Print proof of their disbursement status from the NELFUND portal.
- Proceed to the Bursary Department at the Senate Building for official stamping and acknowledgment.
This process is mandatory to ensure that students are cleared to sit for their exams without interruption.
Students who had already paid their tuition privately before NELFUND disbursement are also required to submit both their payment receipts and the printed disbursement status. The university confirmed that refunds for such cases are being processed and will be reimbursed promptly.
The university emphasized the urgency of this directive, advising all affected students to act immediately to avoid last-minute complications during the examination period.
