UNDP and UniPod Partner with LASU to Enhance Digital Innovation and Creativity

The Lagos State University (LASU) Innovation Hub has received state-of-the-art digital equipment from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UniPod Africa. The equipment installation and training session, held on October 27, 2025, marked a significant milestone in the university's innovation journey.

The initiative aims to equip tertiary institutions with cutting-edge technology infrastructure, promoting innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. LASU's Manager of the Innovation Hub, Professor Tunji Azeez, welcomed the UNDP team, highlighting the university's vision of becoming a leading center for digital innovation.

The training session featured a "Train-the-Trainer" model, empowering participants to pass on their knowledge to others. Students from diverse academic backgrounds participated in hands-on learning, specializing in areas such as electronics and robotics, 3D printing technology, and CO₂ laser and vinyl cutting.
