VC Inspects GST CBT Examinations at FUGA, Assures Students of Credible Process
The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Gashua, FUGA, Professor Yaqub Ahmed Geidam, has inspected the ongoing Computer-Based Test, CBT, examinations for General Studies, GST, courses, assuring students of the University's commitment to a smooth and credible examination process.
During his visit to the CBT Centre, Professor Geidam inspected the facilities and interacted with students and examination officials to assess the progress of the exercise.
He commended the officials for the orderly conduct of the examinations and urged students to remain focused, ask questions where necessary, and adhere strictly to examination rules and regulations.
The Vice-Chancellor stressed the importance of academic integrity, noting that the deployment of CBT forms part of the University's broader efforts to strengthen its examination system and deepen the use of digital technology in academic assessment.

He encouraged students to approach their examinations with seriousness and discipline, assuring them of the University's continued support and a conducive environment for learning and assessment.
The inspection also provided an opportunity for the Vice-Chancellor to assess the functionality of the CBT facilities and address any issues that could affect the smooth conduct of the examinations.
The GST examinations are being conducted through the University's CBT facilities as part of FUGA's continued efforts to expand the use of technology in teaching, learning and assessment.
Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor on the inspection were the University Librarian, Dr. Adam Gambo Saleh; Ag. Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Abatcha Malami; Ag. Director of ICT, Dr. Hauwa Amshi; GST Coordinator, Dr. Muhammad Galadima; and other ICT and academic staff.
