ACUSA Executives Donate 10 First Aid Boxes to ACU Health Services
The outgoing 2025/2026 Executive members of the Ajayi Crowther University Students’ Assembly (ACUSA), led by Comrade Emmanuel Bello, have donated ten fully stocked first aid boxes to the University’s Health Services.

The outgoing 2025/2026 Executive members of the Ajayi Crowther University Students’ Assembly (ACUSA), led by Comrade Emmanuel Bello, have donated ten fully stocked first aid boxes to the University’s Health Services.
The donation was presented on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office as the student leaders rounded off their tenure.
Receiving the items, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole, commended the ACUSA executives for demonstrating maturity and responsible leadership throughout their time in office.
She encouraged the outgoing executives to uphold the values of integrity and service and to apply the leadership lessons gained at Ajayi Crowther University in their future endeavours.
Speaking on the motivation behind the donation, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Cornelius Ojo, said the gesture was driven by the executives’ desire to appreciate the University and support the Vice-Chancellor’s ongoing transformation agenda.
Dr. Ojo said Comrade Emmanuel Bello and his team considered it important to leave a lasting legacy that aligns with the Vice-Chancellor’s vision for a better ACU.
He noted that the student leaders fully supported the developmental strides taking place across the University and chose the donation as one of the ways to demonstrate their support.
Providing details of the donated items, the Director of Health Services, Dr. Olumuyiwa Omotesho, disclosed that each first aid box was equipped to handle basic medical emergencies.
Each first aid box contains:
- A pack of Paracetamol tablets
- Vitamin C tablets
- Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS)
- Pain relief ointment
- Gauze bandage
- A pair of scissors
- A pack of cotton wool
- A bottle of spirit
- Antacid tablets
Dr. Omotesho expressed appreciation to the Students’ Assembly for the contribution, noting that the items would enhance the University’s capacity to provide prompt first-response care to students and staff.
The handing-over ceremony was attended by members of the student body and ended with the outgoing ACUSA executives expressing appreciation for the opportunity to serve the University.
The executives also reaffirmed their commitment to remaining ambassadors of the institution.
