The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), through the Office of the Financial Secretary, has issued a notice to assist students experiencing missing details on the NELFUND portal.
In a statement dated 26th February 2026, Comr. Michael Enyire, SUG Financial Secretary, advised affected students to visit the Permanent Site (Admission Office – HOD’s Office) to have their information incorporated. The directive, following guidance from the NELFUND Liaison Officer, is intended to enable students to apply and access funds without delay.
The statement acknowledged that portal issues have hindered many students from paying school fees and completing other essential academic procedures. The Financial Secretary also announced plans to visit the NELFUND office and provide feedback on outcomes later in the day.
Students are encouraged to update their information promptly, and the SUG expressed appreciation for their patience and cooperation.
