FULafia, UNIMAID Alumni Forge Stronger Ties as Kida Pledges Support

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, has received members of the University of Maiduguri Alumni Association, Nasarawa State Branch, promising stronger ties between the two bodies.

The members, led by their chairman, Comrade Joshua Musa, visited Kida at the Old Senate Chamber of the university to congratulate him on his appointment as the fourth Vice-Chancellor of FULafia and wish him a successful tenure.

Musa informed the vice-chancellor about the association’s forthcoming reunion scheduled to take place in Abuja and presented a roll-up banner to Kida.

Responding, the vice-chancellor thanked the association for the gesture, congratulating the members for maintaining their bond with their alma mater.

Kida assured the delegation of FULafia’s support for the association, stressing that the University would remain open to collaboration with the alumni.

The vice-chancellor was assisted in welcoming the visitors by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Aleruchi Chuku, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Partnerships, Prof. Ibrahim Hassan Ogiri, Registrar, Dr Nuradeen Abdu, and University Librarian, Prof. Abdulrazaq Baba Abdulrahman.
