The application portal will open on Friday, September 26, 2025, and close on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
According to the university’s notice, only candidates who scored 150 and above in UTME, are at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, and whose JAMB subject combinations align with their chosen programmes are eligible to apply. Applicants who initially selected other institutions but wish to switch to FUTO may also participate, provided they effect the change on JAMB CAPS.
O’Level Requirements
Candidates must present a minimum of five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three relevant subjects, in not more than two sittings.
Programmes and Aggregate Scores
The supplementary admission is open across various schools, each with specified UTME subject combinations and cut-off aggregates. Highlights include:

- School of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology (SAAT): Programmes such as Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Crop Science, and Fisheries require a merit aggregate of 45 and catchment aggregate of 40.
- School of Biological Sciences (SOBS): Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, among others, require a merit aggregate of 50 and catchment aggregate of 45.
- School of Electrical Systems & Engineering Technology (SESET): Telecommunications Engineering and Electronic Engineering demand merit aggregates of 55 and 58, respectively.
- School of Engineering & Engineering Technology (SEET): Chemical Engineering requires 55 (merit), while others such as Food Science, Metallurgical Engineering, and Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering require 50 (merit).
- School of Environmental Sciences (SOES): Programmes like Environmental Management, Surveying & Geoinformatics, and Estate Management require aggregates of 45–50.
- School of Logistics & Innovation Technology (SLIT): Courses including Supply Chain Management, Maritime Science, and Entrepreneurship require merit aggregates of 50.
- School of Physical Sciences (SOPS): Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Geology require aggregates ranging from 45 to 50.
- School of Basic Medical Sciences: Human Physiology carries a merit aggregate of 60.
- School of Information and Communication Technology: Information Technology requires a merit aggregate of 55.
- Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards (CE-sPESS): All programmes require a merit aggregate of 40.
Application Fees
- ₦15,000 for candidates who previously applied for Post-UTME.
- ₦17,000 for fresh applicants.
Payments are to be made via Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) at any bank or online with ATM cards.
Registration Steps
- Visit FUTO Undergraduate Portal.
- Click Generate Invoice and enter JAMB Registration Number.
- Pay the fee through bank or online.
- Return to the portal, log in with JAMB Registration Number, and complete the form.
- Confirm entries, submit, and print the acknowledgment slip.
Screening Process
The supplementary screening will rely solely on verified UTME scores and O’Level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS. No written examinations will be conducted.
Important Notes
- Ensure O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS before October 7, 2025 at an accredited CBT centre.
- All application details must match records on JAMB CAPS.
- Only properly submitted applications will be considered.
