IAUE Opens Supplementary Admission for 2026/2027 Academic Session
Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, has announced the commencement of registration for supplementary admission into the University for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, has announced the commencement of registration for supplementary admission into the University for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to a notice signed by the Registrar, Dr Chinonye Abraham Ajie jie, registration for the supplementary admission exercise commenced on Monday, August 31, 2026, and will close on Friday, September 18, 2026.
The university stated that the exercise is open to the following categories of candidates:

UTME candidates who chose Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as their first choice, registered for the 2026/2027 admission exercise but have not yet been offered admission.

Candidates who did not participate in the earlier Post-UTME Screening Exercise and, as a result, have not been ranked for admission.

Candidates who changed their institution to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education but were unable to register for the Post-UTME because the university portal had closed.
The supplementary admission exercise provides eligible candidates with an opportunity to secure admission into available programmes across the following faculties and departments.

Registration Procedures

Candidates are required to log in to their JAMB profiles and effect a change of course to their desired programme, strictly in compliance with the UTME and O’level subject combinations required for the chosen programme. Candidates should use the change of institution/course link on the JAMB portal.

Candidates are warned that incorrect subject combinations for their chosen programmes will result in disqualification.

Candidates must upload their O’level results on the JAMB portal.

Candidates should log in to their profiles on the university portal at https://enterpriseschoolsportal.iaue.edu.ng/, make payment for supplementary admission and select their preferred new course of study. Candidates are advised to check JAMB IBASS for the admission requirements before selecting a programme.

After completing the application, candidates should continue to monitor their admission status on JAMB CAPS to know when they have been offered admission.

The application portal opened on Monday, August 31, 2026, and will close on Friday, September 18, 2026. The university stated that the application period is strictly three weeks and there will be no extension of the deadline.

Candidates seeking UTME admission into any of the listed programmes may apply immediately.
The university further stated that applicants must score 150 and above in UTME to qualify for ranking for admission into the listed departments.
Eligible candidates are therefore advised to log in to their JAMB profiles, effect a change of course to their desired programmes, and subsequently log in to the university portal to register through the registration link and select their preferred course option.
