IMT Enugu Graduate Honoured with NYSC Presidential Award, Presents Award to Rector
The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, celebrated a notable achievement as alumnus Emmanuel Iheomasinachi Ebiem received the prestigious President’s NYSC Honours Award for his exemplary service during his 2021 Batch A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year.
The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, celebrated a notable achievement as alumnus Emmanuel Iheomasinachi Ebiem received the prestigious President’s NYSC Honours Award for his exemplary service during his 2021 Batch A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year.
Ebiem, a graduate of IMT’s Department of Architecture, was recognised for his discipline, humility, and impactful community contributions.
In a gesture of gratitude, Ebiem personally presented the award to the Rector of IMT, Professor Gozie Sunday Ogbodo, during a courtesy visit to the institution. Originally from Okpebe Amodu Akwunanaw in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, Ebiem credited IMT for instilling both academic rigor and moral discipline.
“IMT gave me not just an education, but a vision and discipline for excellence. This honour is as much for the institution as it is for me,” Ebiem said.
Professor Ogbodo congratulated the awardee, praising his decision to dedicate the recognition to IMT. “This moment reflects the quality of graduates IMT continues to produce – men and women of competence, integrity, and patriotism. We are proud of you and remain committed to sustaining academic excellence,” he remarked.
The ceremony, attended by members of IMT’s management, staff, and students, celebrated Ebiem as a role model, reinforcing the institution’s reputation for nurturing leaders, innovators, and change-makers who excel both nationally and internationally.
