LASU Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Part-Time Undergraduate Degree Programmes

The Lagos State University School of Part-Time Studies (LASU-SPTS) has announced the commencement of admissions into its Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The programmes will run at the University’s main campus in Ojo, Lagos.

According to a statement issued by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. Emmanuel A. Fanu, candidates seeking admission must be at least 18 years old and are required to meet the specified entry qualifications available on the University website, www.lasu.edu.ng.

Direct Entry applicants with an OND from government-approved polytechnics or LASU Diploma (Upper Credit) in relevant courses, alongside the required five O’Level credits, are eligible to apply.

Available Programmes
The following faculties are offering part-time degree options for the session:

• Faculty of Arts: English Language, History and International Studies, Music, Peace Studies, Philosophy, Yoruba Communication Arts.
• Faculty of Communication and Media Studies: Mass Communication.
• Faculty of Management Sciences: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Relations and Human Resources, Resource Management, Insurance, Local Government Administration, Marketing, Public Administration.
• Faculty of Science: Computer Science, Fisheries.
• Faculty of Social Sciences: Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.

Application Procedure
Applicants are to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000 via lasu.edu.ng/epayment to access and complete the application form online. After submission, candidates will be invited for an entrance examination. Successful candidates will proceed to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,000 and a medical fee of ₦30,000 immediately.

Closing Date
The deadline for submission of applications is six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.

The University cautioned applicants against making payments to unauthorized individuals or accounts, stressing that all transactions must strictly follow the official procedures.
