Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) is in deep mourning following the tragic death of Prof. Yusuf Saidu, the esteemed Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research, Innovation, and Development. Prof. Saidu was attacked and killed by bandits while traveling from Sokoto to Kaduna state.
Prof. Saidu was a man of integrity, dedication, religion, and courage. His untimely death is a significant loss to the university community, where he was highly respected and admired for his contributions to academia and his commitment to fostering innovation and development.
