FG Announces New Policy Allowing Full-Time HND Graduates with Part-Time OND to Participate in NYSC

The Federal Ministry of Education has introduced a new policy enabling full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) graduates who started with a part-time Ordinary National Diploma (OND) to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

This decision, announced by the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa, resolves a long-standing issue that had prevented many graduates from joining the NYSC.

The new policy offers a solution to the challenges faced by affected graduates, providing them with the opportunity to participate in the NYSC program. To facilitate a smooth transition, the Federal Ministry of Education has directed the NBTE to expedite the verification process.
