AAU ASUU Opens Applications for 2026 Indigent Students’ Scholarship

The scholarship, valued at N200,000 per beneficiary, is aimed at supporting students who demonstrate financial need while maintaining strong academic performance.
The scholarship is open to indigent undergraduate students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, with selection based on demonstrated financial need and academic performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a verified indigent student.
- Be a bona fide undergraduate student of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
- Maintain strong academic standing with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above.
Application Requirements
Eligible students are required to submit a handwritten application letter of not more than two pages addressed to the Convener, ASUU Indigent Scholarship Committee 2026, ASUU Secretariat, Twin Lecture Theatre, AAU Ekpoma.
The application letter must contain:
- Full Name
- Course and Current Level of Study
- State of Origin
- Functional Phone Number

Applicants must also provide the following supporting documents:
- Photocopy of current Student Identity Card
- Official letter from the applicant’s Head of Department (HOD) confirming current academic status and CGPA for the preceding session
- Evidence of course registration for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
- Printed copy of the applicant’s Kofa Student Account statement showing the current CGPA, duly endorsed by the HOD
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
Submission Deadline
Applicants are required to submit their application letters and all supporting documents to the ASUU Secretariat no later than 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Screening and Interview
Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for a screening and interview session conducted by the ASUU AAU Ekpoma Scholarship Committee.
The screening and interview will be used to verify applicants’ academic records and financial need.
Qualified students have been encouraged to submit their applications promptly.
