Northwest University, Kano, has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who participated in the university’s 2026/2027 admission screening exercise can now check their admission status to determine whether they have been offered provisional admission.
The list of successful candidates has been uploaded to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Candidates are advised to follow the steps below to check their admission status.
How to Check Northwest University Kano Admission Status

Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in using your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.

Click on “Check Admission Status”.

Select “Access my CAPS”.

Click on “Admission Status” to check whether you have been offered admission.
Candidates who have been offered admission will receive a congratulatory message confirming their admission offer, alongside their photograph.
However, candidates who have not yet been offered admission will see the message: “Sorry No Admission has Been Given Yet.”
How to Accept or Reject Admission
Candidates who have been offered admission can accept or reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
Candidates have four weeks to accept their admission offers. Those who no longer have access to their registered phone numbers are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to accept or reject their admission.
Printing of JAMB Admission Letter
Candidates who have been offered admission are advised to print their JAMB admission letters after accepting their offers. The admission letters may be required during clearance and registration at the university.
How to Check Admission Status on a Mobile Phone
Candidates accessing JAMB CAPS through a mobile phone may not see the option to check their admission status. Some mobile users may only see the welcome message instead of the complete page.
To resolve this issue, candidates are advised to use the desktop mode on their mobile browsers. Google Chrome is recommended.
To enable desktop mode, open Chrome, click on the options menu and select “Desktop site” or “Request desktop site”. The complete page should then be displayed, allowing candidates to check their admission status.
