The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates seeking supplementary admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Eligible candidates must have selected FUTIA as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 160.
Candidates who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply for supplementary admission by considering a change to any of the available programmes listed below.

Registration Period
The university's online registration is ongoing, and interested candidates are advised to take advantage of the supplementary admission opportunity to register for the available programmes.
Following the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board's (JAMB) scheduled closure of the 2026 admission process on October 31, 2026, candidates are urged to use the remaining days to change their institution and/or programme of choice to the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, where necessary, and complete their registration within the stipulated period.
Candidates who fail to register within the specified registration window will not be considered for admission into FUTIA.
Registration Procedure
Interested candidates are required to follow these steps to complete their registration:

Visit http://portal.futia.edu.ng and click on “Click here to apply”.

Navigate to “Apply Now” on the top menu bar and select “Undergraduate”.

Complete the basic information page. Candidates must provide a valid phone number and email address before clicking “Next”.

On the payment review page, click on “Make Payment” to proceed to the payment page.

Confirm the payment details and click “Submit”.

Enter the ATM card details, including the Mastercard, Visa or Verve card number, and submit.

Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to the registered phone number and click “Continue” to complete the payment.

After successful payment, click on “Main Login” on the portal. Enter the JAMB registration number as the username and the candidate's surname as the password.

Click on “Login” and complete the registration process.

Print the completed registration form and payment receipt for record purposes.
