Gbadebo Ogunmefun Appointed Substantive Bursar of Crescent University

The Proprietor and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Crescent University, Abeokuta, Prince Ma'ruf Adesegun Ajibola, SAN, on behalf of the Governing Council, has announced the appointment of Dr. Tirimisiyu Gbadebo Ogunmefun as substantive Bursar of the institution.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
Dr. Ogunmefun, who bagged his PhD in Accounting at Crescent University a week earlier, has served in acting capacity for over two years.
He previously served as Deputy Bursar of the institution for eight years under the late Alhaji Jimoh Bankole, FCA.
Prior to joining Crescent University, Dr. Ogunmefun had a stint in the banking sector spanning over a decade and a half, from 1997 to 2013, with UBA, Platinum Bank, FCMB and GTBank, where he rose to the position of Deputy Manager.
He later worked as Senior Accountant in the Ogun State Ministry of Budget and Planning between 2014 and 2016, before joining the services of Crescent University on January 9, 2017.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, has extended congratulations to Dr. Ogunmefun on behalf of management, staff and students.
