FUDMA Clarifies N5,000 Payment, Says Fee Is for Alumni Registration, Not NYSC Mobilisation

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has clarified reports concerning the alleged collection of N5,000 from final-year students as a fee for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilisation.

The university said the N5,000 payment is being made into the account of the Federal University Dutse Alumni Association as an alumni registration fee and is not intended as a payment for NYSC mobilisation.

The clarification followed what the university described as a public outrage over the purported collection of the fee from all final-year students as NYSC mobilisation charges.
