ATBU SUG Announces Restoration of Electricity and Water Supply in Gubi Campus

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced the restoration of essential campus utilities in the Gubi campus.

In a special bulletin dated 16th September, 2026, and signed by the Secretary General, Onuh Ernest Ojochonu, the Union informed the entire student body that the electricity outage and water scarcity recently experienced in the campus have been fully addressed.

According to the bulletin, the development followed constructive engagements with the University Management, through the necessary interventions of the relevant authorities.

The SUG sincerely appreciated the University management for its prompt attention and commitment in resolving the challenges, and extended gratitude to the student body for their patience, understanding and cooperation throughout the period.

The Union also reaffirmed its commitment to representing students' interests, promoting their welfare, and sustaining effective communication between the student body and the University Management.
