ACU Management Urges Campus Cleanliness as 42 Waste Bins Are Deployed Across Oyo Campus
The management of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole, has called on staff and students to actively support efforts aimed at maintaining a clean and healthy university environment.

The appeal followed the delivery of 42 waste bins to the university’s Environmental Management Unit (EMU) for structured waste disposal across the campus.
Guided by the principle that “Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” the university management urged all stakeholders to ensure proper waste disposal and sustain a well-maintained campus environment.
The newly delivered waste bins have been formally handed over to the EMU for deployment at strategic locations across the university.

Mr. Olugbenga Fashina, Head of the EMU, who received the bins, commended the Vice-Chancellor for her commitment to environmental cleanliness and her vision of maintaining a visually appealing and hygienic campus environment.
According to the deployment plan, the bins will be distributed as follows:
Lagos and Ibadan Hostels: 3 bins each
Diocese of Lagos West (DLW) and University Female Hostel (UFH): 10 bins each
Joseph Adetiloye Hostel (JAH): 6 bins
Premium Female Hostel: 3 bins
Premium Male Hostel: 2 bins
Staff Quarters 1 and 2, Lodge, Sports Pavilion, and Offa Meta Campus: 1 bin each
Staff and students have been urged to make proper use of the waste bins and avoid indiscriminate littering across the campus.
