The Management of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) welcomed a delegation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for a resource verification exercise concerning newly proposed programmes.

The programmes under review include B.Sc. (Ed.) Marketing, B.Sc. Marketing, and Hospitality and Tourism Management, all within the College of Management Sciences Education at the Oto/Ijanikin Main Campus.

In her remarks, Vice-Chancellor Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye highlighted that LASUED’s commitment to academic excellence and its mandate to produce world-class graduates motivated the introduction of these programmes, pending full accreditation. She emphasized that the resource verification exercise is essential to ensure that all quality standards and requirements for programme delivery are fully met.

Professor Lafiaji-Okuneye further reaffirmed the University’s dedication to operating in full compliance with NUC policies, aiming to position LASUED among the leading universities in Nigeria while attracting a growing number of prospective students.
