The clarification comes in the wake of recent security incidents reported in parts of Oriire Local Government Area, where attacks on some schools were recorded. Although those locations are not far from the university’s host community, LAUTECH authorities stressed that the institution is not affected and remains safe for academic activities.

For now, the university continues its normal operations, urging the public to rely only on verified official communications for accurate updates.
