National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ondo State Joint Campus Council is set to host its 2026 Entrepreneurship Summit aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and economic empowerment among students.
According to a Saturday statement signed by the JCC Chairman, Comrade Adekanye Mayomi Adeboye, the summit themed, “Students to CEO: Unlocking Ondo State Students’ Potential for Economic Growth,” will hold on Tuesday, September 1st, at Deji Hall, Ojaja, Akure.
Adeboye added that the event is being held in honour of Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who is expected to serve as the Chief Host.
NANS Ondo JCC noted that the initiative is designed to provide students with practical knowledge, entrepreneurial exposure and access to opportunities that can help them develop sustainable businesses and contribute to the state’s economy.

“The summit will bring together students, entrepreneurs, business leaders, government representatives and other stakeholders to discuss practical pathways for young people to transform ideas and skills into viable enterprises,” the statement reads in part.
The council noted that the “Students to CEO” theme reflects its commitment to moving beyond academic education by equipping students with the skills, networks and opportunities required to navigate the modern economic environment.
Organisers said the summit will also provide a platform for participants to interact with industry stakeholders, learn from experienced entrepreneurs and explore opportunities in business development, innovation and financial empowerment.
Adeboye urged students across tertiary institutions in the state to participate actively in the programme, adding that the council remains committed to initiatives that place the development, welfare and economic future of students at the centre of its activities.
He also called on entrepreneurs, financial institutions, development partners, government agencies and other stakeholders to support initiatives that create sustainable economic opportunities for young Nigerians.
