An aspirant for the presidency of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Woyinfa Opeoluwa, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Prof. Adenike Oladiji, as part of ongoing consultations ahead of the student body’s leadership contest.

An aspirant for the presidency of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Woyinfa Opeoluwa, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Prof. Adenike Oladiji, as part of ongoing consultations ahead of the student body’s leadership contest.

The visit, which took place on April 13, 2026, provided an opportunity for engagement and interaction, with the Vice-Chancellor receiving the delegation and offering words of encouragement to the aspirant, who is also an alumnus of the institution.

Also present at the meeting was the Alumni Representative-in-Council, Dr. Crown Olaitan Adesomoju, who expressed support for the aspirant and conveyed the endorsement of the FsUTA alumni body.

The delegation included the FUTA Students’ Union President, Comrade Pelemo Desmond, popularly known as “King,” alongside other union leaders, underscoring student backing for the aspirant’s bid.
