The Management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has reiterated its prohibition on the unauthorised use of official University vehicle plate numbers by members of staff.
The directive, conveyed by the Registrar, Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, mnim, fcai, fcim, follows Management's observation of an increasing incidence of the unofficial use of University plate numbers.
Management has warned that stringent sanctions will be imposed on any staff member found violating the directive.

Consequently, all members of staff are required to strictly comply with the policy and refrain from using any University plate number that has not been officially issued to them.
To ensure full compliance, the University's Security Unit has been mandated to impound any vehicle and confiscate any University plate number found to have been used without official authorisation.
Members of the University community are therefore urged to comply fully with the directive in the interest of maintaining order, accountability, and the integrity of the University's vehicle identification system.
